Following last year’s successful event, the Chairman of the bacta Charitable Trust, Steve Hawkins, is organising another summer ball to raise funds for good causes, including Rays of Sunshine.
The ball will take place on June 28 at the prestigious Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel and Country Club in the West Midlands, the same location as last year. Guests will enjoy a fabulous dinner, live music and other entertainment during the evening, which will also include an auction of incredible prizes to raise extra funds.
“Last year’s ball was a massive success and we plan to build on it this year,” says Steve. “We have already sold a good few tables of ten but we are also able to take bookings for smaller numbers if required. The ticket price if £150 per head – please do get in touch for more details.”
“We are also looking for some attractive items to auction, such as holidays, golf days, or tickets to sporting events,” adds Steve. “If you have something of value that you would be happy to donate, we would be ever so grateful. We have a couple of companies who have already generously sponsored the band but there are more opportunities available. If you would like to see know more contact Karen at Swan Events.”
