'Over the Edge' is a game developed by UNIS Technology and carries a patent relating to the concept and gameplay.
Instance Automatics Ltd, along with partners Crown Direct are the Authorised Distributors of all UNIS Technology products, in the UK, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.
Ian Eason, Managing Director of Instance Automatics issued a statement saying, "It has come to our attention that at the recent Irish show, a flyer was being passed around offering 'Over the Edge' and other equipment.
"The 'Over the Edge' in the flyer is a copy / counterfeit machine, unauthorised for sale and in breach of the patent.
Lawyers have already been instructed on this, and legal action will begin towards the original sellers, the UK/Ireland sellers and any operators of this counterfeit machine.
Please contact us if you have been offered and actually purchased one of these machines."
