Multi-Million Pound Expansion Plans Revealed for Towyn Holiday Park

Plans for a multi-million-pound development at a popular Towyn holiday park have been unveiled, featuring a six-lane bowling alley, rooftop bar, and an expanded amusement arcade.

SF Parks has submitted an application to Conwy County Council’s planning department, seeking approval for the project at Golden Gate Holiday Centre in Towyn.

The proposed development includes relocating reception and administrative offices to centralize the park's operations. SF Parks aims to complement the recently renovated clubhouse and new swimming pool with these new facilities. Additionally, the company hopes to extend the current seven-and-a-half-month season to ten and a half months, aiming to attract local residents and boost employment and the local economy.

SF Parks, which also owns White House Leisure Park, Riverside, and Sun Valley in Rhuddlan, and Sirior Bach in Moelfre, Abergele, is led by directors Oliver and Jonathan Seldon. Jonathan emphasized the importance of attracting visitors throughout the year to benefit Towyn and surrounding areas, aligning with the proposal to extend Golden Gate's season.

Oliver highlighted the company's commitment to enhancing leisure facilities across its portfolio, based on positive feedback from caravan owners, the community, and local businesses. The recent approval for the development of a high ropes course, spa, sauna, gym complex, and wine bar at White House Leisure Park is part of SF Parks' broader strategy to create high-quality amenities for families to enjoy.

The Seldons expressed their dedication to ongoing investment, aiming to provide more recreational opportunities, job opportunities, and a thriving Towyn community year-round.
