E-Service is proud to have supported the Potters Bar Scout Group in their efforts to host a successful and compliant fundraising event at last weekend’s Potters Bar Carnival. The local group reached out to our team seeking assistance in ensuring their beer tent operation met all local authority regulations, particularly in preventing the sale of alcohol to minors.
To achieve this, E-Service installed a state-of-the-art age verification system, MyCheckr created by Innovative Technology. This uses biometrics to anonymously verify a customer's age, delivering a positive or negative result that prompts the server to request identification if necessary. This not only helps maintain compliance but also supports serving staff by taking the pressure off them to demand ID based on their own judgement of the customer’s age.
“The MyCheckr system proved to be a hit at the carnival, not just for its functionality but also for the entertainment it provided,” said Paul Scott, E-Service Sales Director. “Attendees who were clearly over 25 enjoyed testing the system, walking away amused and satisfied with the accuracy and efficiency of the age verification process!”
