Blueprint Launches Revolution at ACOS

Blueprint Operations has confirmed the name of its major new cabinet which will be officially launched at ACOS.

Blueprint’s Revolution cabinet is the outcome of an 18-month development programme undertaken by the company in partnership with Fennica Gaming a dedicated commercial design studio based in Helsinki.

Speaking ahead of the industry launch, Blueprint Operations Managing Director Andy Tipple said: “The Revolution name is totally appropriate for a cabinet which is set to revolutionise machine play in all Adult Gaming premises across the UK.

“New cabinets should be about much more than simply making the screens bigger; instead they should help deliver a radically different consumer experience and capture the collective imagination of the industry – Revolution will do exactly that.”

He continued: “Our brief to Fennica Gaming was clear and concise and included some key non-negotiables. Fennica, I have to say, not only met the brief but they have surpassed all of our expectations.

“At the same time as introducing a sea-change to the cabinet aesthetic we were absolutely clear that we wanted to deliver an immersive play experience enabled by cutting-edge design as well as a range of operational advances which we had identified by speaking with and listening to our customers.”

According to Tipple the industry won’t be disappointed with the outcome of more than 2,000 design hours.

He noted: “We’ve acted on all the feedback from our growing buy direct customer-base resulting in a cabinet which has set new standards in terms of ergonomic design, which is physically smaller and lighter thereby taking-up less floor space and which has enabled an easier installation process. We are confident that we have ticked all the boxes, including the delivery of  improved security and service accessibility”.

“The Revolution has been a key undertaking for both Blueprint and our design partners Fennica.   I’m proud to say the process has succeeded in raising the bar in terms of creating an innovative, exciting and futuristic cabinet for UK operators.”
