E-Service Recognizes Customers Championing Challenge 25 During Safer Gambling Week

In support of Safer Gambling Week, E-Service commends its customers in adult gaming centres, bingo halls, and casinos for their proactive efforts in player protection, particularly through the adoption of the MyCheckr age verification system.

Hot Slots Casino in Plymouth has embraced the cutting-edge technology to ensure compliance with age verification regulations. In addition to MyCheckr, the AGC has integrated it with the Alerts app, which sends instant notifications to a connected tablet, pc or phone when a customer fails the biometric scan. This allows staff to promptly conduct manual age checks, streamlining the process while maintaining regulatory compliance. The app also creates a comprehensive activity log of all interactions, providing robust evidence for compliance audits and improving operational efficiency.

Paul Scott, Sales Director of E-Service, emphasised the importance of these measures, stating:
"Our customers are taking a very important step in tackling issues around safer gambling by identifying those players who may be underage. We would like to acknowledge those adult gaming centres, bingo halls, and casinos that are proactively addressing player protection not just during Safer Gambling Week but all year round."

The MyCheckr age verification system is an advanced solution designed to bolster Challenge 25 commitments. This innovative technology uses a combination of AI-powered facial recognition and ID scanning to verify the age of players with precision and efficiency. It integrates seamlessly with gaming and venue management systems, ensuring that operators can uphold the highest standards of compliance while enhancing the player experience. MyCheckr not only supports operators in meeting their regulatory responsibilities but also reinforces their dedication to creating a safe and responsible gambling environment.

Safer Gambling Week is an annual campaign aimed at promoting safer gambling practices across the UK. Running from 18-24 November 2024, the campaign unites the entire gambling industry in its mission to raise awareness about safer gambling and provide information, advice, and tools to players and staff.

E-Service remains committed to supporting its customers in their safer gambling initiatives, recognising that tools like MyCheckr are crucial for fostering a culture of responsibility and trust within the gaming sector.
