Awards will celebrate excellence and professionalism at EAG Expo, states Bacta’s George McGregor

    The prestigious Bacta Awards which are an industry-wide  ‘Celebration of Excellence’ will once again be presented at EAG Expo.

    The presentations to Bacta’s High Street Hero, Seaside Saviour and Supply Chain Champion will be held 14thJanuary in the all-new Waterfront Street Kitchen and Bar which is part of the ExCeL campus located a one-minute walk from the West Entrance.

    The Networking Event and drinks reception will run from 6pm- 8pm with the Awards Presentations scheduled for 7pm.

    Heralding the Awards, George McGregor Bacta’s Executive Director (Government Relations) said: “The “Bactas”exemplify what it means to be a member of the leading trade association representing the out of home entertainment industry.

    “Being a Bacta member is synonymous with professionalism and the Awards that we will be presenting at EAG reflect our core values of being ethical, sustainable, responsible and transparent.”

    The Bacta Awards celebrate and recognise those individuals that have gone beyond the call of duty either at work, through community engagement or helping to deliver the industry cornerstones of fun and entertainment.

    The High Street Hero is for individuals working in AGCs, High Street Bingo and Inland FECS; Seaside Saviour is for staff based at Coastal FECs and the Supply Chain Champion encompasses the employees of manufacturers, distributors and single site operators.

    The Waterfront Street Kitchen and Bar is a brand new hospitality destination overlooking the Royal Docks and provides a perfect environment in which to join the EAG and Bacta teams for an evening of networking, inspiration and celebration.
