Bandai Namco appoints Tommy Nasser to spearhead its UK sales

Bandai Namco Amusement Europe welcomes Tommy Nasser as its new Head of UK Sales and Used Games.

The announcement comes as Tommy celebrates his 26th year with the business. After joining Bandai Namco in 1998, he worked his way from Customer Service Assistant to General Manager at Namco Funscape in Luton in 2007 before helping launch the company’s Funscape Metrocentre branch in 2009. In 2016, he moved to the Trafford site, which he successfully grew to the group’s best-performing location outside of Japan.

Tommy will now switch his focus to directing and implementing the wider UK sales strategy for the company, leading the Sales and Used Games team and playing a pivotal role in powering further market growth.

He will join the rest of the Bandai Namco team at the EAG Expo in London from January 14th to 16th.

James Anderson, Commercial and Sales Director at Bandai Namco Amusement Europe, said: “We’re thrilled to see Tommy step into this new role after a rich career with us. He has been an integral part of the Bandai Namco family for many years and has celebrated a number of significant successes. His leadership of our Trafford site demonstrates his indisputable impact on driving growth.

“I have no doubt that Tommy’s excellent track record, operational experience and vision in his new role will position our Sales and Used Games offering in the UK for long-term success.”

Tommy Nasser, Head of UK Sales and Used Games at Bandai Namco Amusement Europe, said: “I first joined Bandai Namco aged 18 and have enjoyed a string of promotions since then. Now, more than two decades later, I approach this new position with as much energy and determination as ever.

“I look forward to achieving our growth goals for the company in 2025 with a stellar team alongside me.”
