The UK amusements industry is mourning the loss of Ashley Temple, an extremely respected and well-liked figure.
Ashley was a longstanding and valued member of the Crown Leisure team, and throughout his career made a lasting impact on colleagues, clients, and the wider industry. Known for his kindness, good humour, and dedication, he was not only a passionate advocate for the business but a friend to many across the sector.
In a statement shared with members, bacta President Joseph Cullis expressed his condolences on behalf of the industry community:
“Ashley Temple was a much-loved and respected figure within our industry. His dedication to his work, his generosity of spirit, and the warmth he extended to everyone he met will never be forgotten. Ashley made significant contributions to Crown Leisure and the sector more broadly, and he will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
At this time, the family has asked for privacy, and details of any arrangements will be shared in due course.
Ashley Temple will be remembered with great affection and gratitude by friends and colleagues throughout the industry.
