Grand Opening Launch Event Of Carnival, Golf and Games

High Wycombe has welcomed a brand-new entertainment venue as Carnival Golf & Games, part of  Funstation Group, officially celebrated its grand opening last week, attracting a number of industry guests. 

The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Thursday 11 September, led by the Chairman of Buckinghamshire Council and the Mayor of High Wycombe, Majid Hussain. The Mayor praised the new development, calling it “a fantastic addition to our local area, offering fun, family-friendly entertainment that people of all ages can enjoy. I have no doubt it will become a favourite destination for residents and visitors alike.”

James Miller, Founder of Funstation Group explained, "The launch event reflected the venue’s focus on community. Local businesses, schools, youth group Actions4Youth, and families were invited to enjoy the activities free of charge, including crazy golf, arcade games, and electric darts. Guests were treated to live circus performances, stilt walkers, and a Greatest Showman tribute act, creating a lively carnival atmosphere."

Carnival Golf & Games also used the occasion to spotlight its charity partnership with Rays of Sunshine, which supports seriously ill children across the UK. A donation of £2,500 was presented on the night, with wish child Kaiden and his family attending as special VIP guests. “Watching Kaiden enjoy the amusements was a huge highlight,” said Amy Chambers, CEO of Rays of Sunshine. “We are so grateful for Carnival Golf & Games’ continued support, which helps us bring smiles and magical memories to children when they need them most.”

Kaiden’s mother, Kathryn Edwards, added: “Kaiden came home absolutely buzzing — we had such a good time. We feel really lucky we got to have that experience, and we’re already planning our next trip back!”

Carnival Golf & Games offers two themed 12-hole courses — Carnival Golf and Club Tropicana — alongside a mix of arcade favourites, electric darts, and family attractions. The venue is operated by Funstation, a leading UK family entertainment centre group which also runs Volcano Falls Adventure Golf and Laser Station.

With the ribbon now officially cut, Carnival Golf & Games is open for families, groups, and friends looking for competitive fun in a vibrant setting.
