SEGA Amusements International has proudly supplied a wide range of cutting-edge amusement games and system solutions to Urban Fun, the brand-new £4 million multi-level entertainment playground launching this December in Kingston upon Thames.
Developed by Funbox Entertainment, one of the UK’s fastest-growing leisure operators, Urban Fun promises to redefine social entertainment on the high street – offering guests an exciting mix of competitive attractions, including duck-pin bowling, AR darts, axe throwing, mini golf, and a state-of-the-art arcade.
SEGA Amusements worked closely with the Funbox team to curate a premium games mix featuring many of the industry’s best-performing titles, including 501 Darts, VR and redemption experiences, and a selection of popular SEGA prize games designed to deliver maximum fun and repeat play.
Supporting the venue’s fully cashless operation, SEGA partnered with Sacoa Cashless System to implement a seamless, card-based solution for guests to tap, play and collect digital tickets across the arcade. This ensures an effortless and modern user experience, while giving the operator access to detailed analytics and system management tools.
“We’re thrilled to support Funbox Entertainment on their latest and most ambitious project yet,” said Justin Burke, COO of SEGA Amusements International. “Urban Fun sets a new benchmark for the next generation of social entertainment venues in the UK, and it’s great to see SEGA games and Sacoa technology at the heart of that experience.”
Located on Clarence Street in the former Wilko building, Urban Fun will feature a host of innovative attractions, two vibrant bars, a mouth-watering food menu, and a prize-winning arcade – creating an all-in-one destination for groups, families, and corporate events alike.
