EE is bringing Game Day to Brighton Pier on Saturday, 7th September, transforming the area into a massive gaming arcade for 24 hours. The main attraction on the pier will be "EE Gull Bop," an augmented reality (AR) game where players scan QR codes around the pier and use their phones to bop virtual seagulls for points.
This event is part of EE’s nationwide Game Day, offering gamers across the UK a chance to win prizes by participating in various games. Points earned in EE Gull Bop can be converted into EE Chest Codes, unlocking rewards through the EE Game Store.
Beyond the excitement at Brighton Pier, gamers nationwide can participate in a variety of online and mixed reality experiences via the EE Game Store. These include Wembley Goal Run and Cross Country Run, where players can scan QR codes on billboards or in EE stores to play and earn points.
Additionally, EE has created a special treasure hunt within Fortnite, featuring mini-games and hidden Game Chests filled with console prize bundles. The event will be capped off with a live Twitch stream at 5pm, where top UK gaming streamers from Sidemen will reveal the Fortnite Island Code and join fans in the hunt for prizes.
