Industry veteran Ken Mullarkey has announced his retirement on Linkedin. Ken was most recently working for Trident Machines as National Account Director. We wish him a wonderful next phase of his life – it certainly sounds as though he (and his wife) have plenty planned!
“Ok, so that’s it. After nearly 47 years in the gaming and hospitality industry I have finally decided to hang up my boots. I have had the privilege and pleasure of working with some great people, from the mad Scotsman who I helped deliver machines in the early days to some of the most inspirational leaders in the leisure and drinks sectors. In 1976 I joined MHG as a workshop engineer and have never looked back. Working with amazing people at Allied Breweries and latterly Spirit Group where we produced record breaking profits, was an experience that I will never forget. The continued income growth over decades is testament to the commitment and fantastic innovation within the machines sector and the great people within it.
Thank you all for your support, guidance and above all friendship over many years. So for now there are beaches to walk on, gardens to tend, Granddaughters to hug, beer, football, cricket, before I even start on the to do list my lovely wife has started!
So for now it’s au revoir!”
