Bowl Central Brings All-in-One Entertainment to Reading

A brand-new destination for bowling, gaming, and socialising has landed in the heart of Reading. Bowl Central officially opened its third UK venue on Thursday 12 June, bringing its signature mix of immersive entertainment, modern design, and high-energy fun to the town centre.

Following successful launches in Fareham and Bournemouth, the Reading venue marks another milestone for the fast-growing brand, which has quickly become known for redefining the social entertainment experience across the South of England.

The new site features multiple ten-pin bowling lanes, a supercharged arcade, Augmented Reality Darts, and a stylish premium bar—making it a versatile hotspot for family days out, date nights, or group celebrations.

As with previous sites, SEGA Amusements International has played a key role in elevating the arcade offer. The Reading venue boasts more than 30 top-performing amusement machines, carefully curated to appeal to all ages and skill levels. Player favourites include Zombies Ready Deady Go, Win Fall Revolution 2 Player, Big Sea Fishing, High Five, Bop It! Arcade, and many more.

A spokesperson for Bowl Central said:

“We’re excited to open our doors in Reading and offer something for everyone—whether you’re here for a quick game, a night out, or a full-on family day. Our venues are designed to blend quality, atmosphere, and energy, and we think Reading is the perfect city for our next chapter.”

Bowl Central Reading is now open seven days a week, adding a bold new option to the town’s leisure and nightlife scene. With plans to expand further in the coming months, the brand continues to gain momentum as a key player in the UK’s social entertainment landscape.
