Bacta Awards set to recognise excellence at EAG Expo

The Bacta Awards will once again shine a spotlight on excellence across the land-based low-stake gaming and amusements sectors when they are presented during this year’s EAG Expo.

The awards will be announced at a dedicated drinks reception taking place on Tuesday 13 January from 6pm in the Bacta Business Lounge at ExCeL London. The event will run until 7.45pm and will bring together members, stakeholders and industry leaders following the opening day of the show.

Awards will be presented in three categories: Supply Chain Champion, Seaside Hero and Community Champion, recognising individuals and businesses that have made an outstanding contribution to the sector.

Speaking ahead of the ceremony, Bacta President Joseph Cullis said:

“The Bacta Awards are an opportunity to pause and recognise the people and businesses that quietly set the benchmark for our sector. Whether it is strengthening local communities or upholding the highest standards of responsible operation, these are contributions that deserve to be celebrated.

“EAG Expo provides the perfect backdrop. It brings together the full breadth of our industry, and the awards reception allows members to come together, reflect on what we do well, and celebrate the professionalism and pride that runs throughout the land-based low-stake gaming and amusements sector.”

The Bacta Awards reception is open to Bacta members attending EAG Expo and forms part of the association’s wider programme of engagement and activity during the three-day event at ExCeL London.
