Blueprint Operations reports strong EAG showing as Monopoly takes centre stage

Blueprint Operations has reported a highly successful outing at this year’s EAG Expo, with Managing Director Andy Tipple describing the show as one that met – and in some cases exceeded – the company’s ambitious objectives.

Reflecting on the three-day event, Tipple said EAG delivered high-quality engagement with customers, a solid order book and a positive industry mood, helping set a confident tone for the year ahead.

“EAG is a hugely important show for us,” he said. “The January timing provides a springboard into Q1 and helps set the direction for the year. We had strong, meaningful discussions with our key customers, which is central to our consultative sales and marketing approach. Being able to spend time explaining new product launches and outlining the Blueprint roadmap is invaluable.”

Tipple also paid tribute to the Blueprint team, noting that confidence and product knowledge across the stand helped reinforce trust with customers and supported productive conversations throughout the event.

In commercial terms, Blueprint reported securing orders across both its B3 and Category C product ranges during the show. Category C continues to perform strongly for the business, while the Velocity cabinet maintained momentum and attracted significant interest. The Spintec Roulette offering also generated strong engagement, leading to further orders and contributing to what Tipple described as “a high degree of confidence heading into 2026”.

One of the clear highlights of the Blueprint stand was Monopoly, which attracted attention from visitors throughout the show. Tipple said the globally recognised brand resonated strongly with operators, who could clearly see its value across a wide range of venues.

“There’s a genuine affection for Monopoly,” he explained. “The response to our interpretation of the game was extremely positive, particularly in terms of build quality, animation and overall player appeal. Positioned alongside Bullseye, it was seen as a powerful and recognisable proposition. Importantly, operators recognise that these are strong games in their own right – the licences simply add to their appeal.”

Discussing the wider industry mood, Tipple said sentiment at EAG was broadly positive, helped in no small part by confirmation that Machine Games Duty (MGD) will remain at 20 percent. He noted that this provided operators with greater clarity around budgeting and capital investment for 2026.

“While there are ongoing discussions around technical standards, there’s no expectation of immediate change in the short term,” he added. “Overall, there was cautious but genuine optimism, despite continued economic pressures and rising business costs.”

Looking ahead to the spring, Blueprint’s focus will be on the continued rollout of new game content, which Tipple identified as the key priority for the year. With the cabinet range largely established, the business is now concentrating on content performance, delivery, and ongoing investment in technical and service support.

Following EAG, the Blueprint team headed straight to ICE in Barcelona, showcasing selected products on the group stand. Tipple said the combined impact of EAG and ICE makes the early part of the year a pivotal period not just for Blueprint, but for the wider industry.
