The East Coast Amusement Show (ECAS) is set to return in 2026, with United Distributing Company once again bringing its popular east coast roadshow format to operators in Skegness this May.
Taking place over three days, the event continues to build on its reputation as a more accessible, regional alternative to larger national exhibitions—designed specifically to bring the latest equipment and innovations directly to operators without the need for long-distance travel.
Unlike traditional trade shows, ECAS has carved out a niche as a low-key, highly practical event, where the emphasis is on meaningful conversations, hands-on demonstrations and quality engagement rather than sheer visitor volume.
The format allows operators to drop in throughout the day, spend time with machines, and engage directly with suppliers in a more relaxed environment. For many, this accessibility is key—particularly for coastal and regional businesses that may not always attend larger London-based events.
As in previous editions, ECAS is expected to feature a strong line-up of suppliers, with companies such as E-Service, Ideal One and Blueprint traditionally supporting the event alongside UDC, creating a compact but comprehensive showcase of products and services.
The roadshow approach also enables suppliers to stay close to their customer base, often combining the event with on-the-ground visits and technical support in the surrounding areas—further strengthening relationships within the sector.
With the 2026 edition approaching, ECAS continues to demonstrate the value of regional engagement in an industry where convenience, connection and practical insight remain key drivers of attendance.
For operators on the east coast, it’s a chance to see what’s new, catch up with suppliers and peers, and do business in an environment that reflects the day-to-day realities of the sector.
