As the countdown to the 2026 FIFA World Cup begins, Bob Rudd has launched its new World Cup Pool Packs, giving pubs, bars, clubs, and entertainment venues an easy way to run pool competitions throughout the tournament and keep customers engaged before and after matches.
As part of Bob Rudd’s continued focus on retail development and competitive socialising, the packs have been designed to help operators make more of the major sporting event by creating simple, in-venue pool activities that encourage longer stays, repeat visits, and increased customer engagement.

Emily Price, Project Marketing Manager at Bob Rudd said:
“Major sporting events like the World Cup create a real opportunity for venues, and our Pool Packs give operators a straightforward way to add extra activity around matchdays.
Customers are increasingly looking for interactive entertainment experiences alongside live sport, food, and drinks, and these formats give venues an easy way to build more activity around the pool table.
The knockout formats work particularly well before games to bring people into venues earlier, or after matches to keep customers staying longer and continuing the social atmosphere within the venue.
We’ll also be running online social media promotions throughout the tournament, where customers can tag us in photos of themselves taking part in our World Cup pool knockouts for the chance to win spot prizes, including split cues, cue cases, and other pool accessories.”
The World Cup Pool Knockout format allows venues to run simple 16-player elimination tournaments, while “Clear the Rack” challenges players to complete the table in the fastest possible time to progress through the rounds. The packs also include Killer Pool, a multiplayer format designed for group play and busy social environments.
With ready-made promotional materials and easy-to-run competition formats, the packs give venues a practical way to build additional activity around the World Cup while reinforcing pool’s role within the growing competitive socialising market.
