John White to Leave bacta

Bacta sent out an announcement regarding the departure of CEO John White last night.

    Here it is in full:

I wanted to let you know that our CEO, John White, will be leaving bacta at the end of the year.

He will however remain available to us in a consultancy capacity until the end of March 2024.

The departure of John comes as bacta continues with its restructure following approval by the members of a new governance structure and my election as President in the Summer.   I and your new Board will be working with the remaining members of the bacta team to ensure that there is no reduction in the level of service bacta provides to its members.

We will not be searching for a new Chief Executive.

John has given bacta over 20 years of loyal service in two stints1988-2000 and 2014- present.  Along the way he has chalked up some notable victories for our sector.  I and the Board, and, I am sure all members, will want to thank John for all he has done for us and to wish him well for the future.

    Kind regards

    John Bollom

    President
