January’s EAG Expo will provide a high profile platform for the industry to recognise and celebrate the good news stories which underpin and characterise the business but rarely get reported.
Show organisers have confirmed details of the Chairman’s Awards, a programme which highlights positive initiatives undertaken by individuals and businesses working in the industry. Awards will be presented at show and EAG is inviting members of the industry to submit their nominations by contacting phil.gibbs@eagexpo.com.
Explaining both the purpose and the format of the Awards, Show Chairman Nick Harding said: “EAG is the meeting place for our industry and therefore the best possible event for us to collectively champion the outstanding and frequently unrecognised work that businesses and team members undertake in their community.
“We want to learn about and recognise those businesses that provide essential support to charities, the individuals who complete sponsored endurance challenges, operators who have been part of the community for generations, acts of bravery or heroism and staff who have gone the extra mile in terms of looking after their customers in amusements and gaming venues.”
He added: “EAG is widely recognised for being the place where the industry meets, the event where operators can identify industry trends and the arena in which exhibitors choose to launch their latest income generating innovations across all product genres. I also want it to be seen as the place where the business celebrates the great and the good of this wonderful industry.”
The 2026 edition runs across 13 -15 January at ExCeL London. Bringing together amusements, competitive socialising and casino and gaming products the show is bidding to increase attendance for the fourth consecutive year. The number attending EAG has grown by 69 percent since 2022 with the 2025 edition registering 4,306 unique visitors a 23 percent year-on-year uplift.
