EAG expand opening hours to deliver enhanced Return on Investment for exhibitors

EAG organisers have responded to exhibitor requests to extend the opening hours of what is the world’s only b2b expo to bring together the worlds of amusements and low stake land-based gambling in a single event.

The 2024 edition of the show which takes place at ExCeL, London will run from 9am – 6pm  (16th and 17th January) and 9am – 4pm (18th January). The additional hours extend the trading window by 14 percent at an exhibition whose marketing slogan is ‘The Year Starts Here’.

EAG Chairman Martin Burlin confirmed the decision which was taken by the EAG Board of Directors all of whom are active in the domestic gambling and amusements sectors. He stated: “This is a great example of how EAG is totally in tune with the needs of the industry and how it works in partnership with its stakeholders.

“We were asked at a recent exhibitor meeting to explore options to add hours to EAG without impacting the cost-base and opening the show earlier was the most straightforward solution.”

He added: “The executive team at EAG is either currently involved in the industry or has enjoyed lengthy careers in the business. This means that we have experienced the unique pressures which the sector faces as well as the importance of delivering the best possible ROI to exhibitors and visitors alike. Extending our opening hours by 14 percent is an important method for EAG to deliver enhanced value to its stakeholders.”

EAG 2024 dovetails with the timetable for implementation of the proposals included in the Government’s White Paper on gambling reform, which augurs well for manufacturers wanting to launch their latest gaming products and for operators looking to hit the ground running with the first post White Paper innovations.
